THE WAGNER PIANO METHOD WILL:

 
  • Promote the most exciting and comprehensive beginning music program available. 

  • Help students develop a love for music, and a skillful means of expressing themselves. 

  • Include and support the parents by supplying a Parent Guide, and by including them in the classes.

  • Make a difference in the lives of the students we teach by our dedication to them as equal and important human beings.

  • Endeavor to make music a personal and enduring part of students’ lives.

  • Strive to break the cycle of regret uttered by countless thousands of individuals, “I wish I had not quit” by:

    • Constantly adjusting to the needs of the students

    • Praising accomplishments

    • Encouraging a realistic practice schedule

    • Providing songs students like to play

    • Modeling a positive attitude

    • Keeping the classes interesting and motivating

    • Demonstrating musical skill - to show the students what is possible

    • Providing a realistic and appropriate reward system

  • Encourage family values, and promote social skills in our music classes. We will listen to the parents and the students, and adapt accordingly. We will encourage constructive criticism and remain open to suggestions.

    • Note-reading

    • Ear-training

    • Rhythmic skill

    • Keyboard and Piano Technique

    • Singing

    • Ensemble Performance

    • Solo Performance

    • Composition
